Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Chocolate covered pretzels may be considered weird by some people since they're made of two foods that you wouldn't normally think would taste good together: chocolate and pretzels. However, the combination actually turns out to be incredibly delicious, and this is why they are such a favorite around the world. Chocolate covered pretzels can basically be found at any local supermarket. But if you're really daring, you can actually make your own chocolate covered pretzels.

In order to make your own, what you need is: pretzels and semi-sweet morsels. All you need to do is heat the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a double boiler or heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. Then you dip the pretzels in with a fork and move them to wax paper. Refrigerate uncovered until the chocolate is firm, or for about 30 minutes.

This is a favorite recipesl, especially during the holiday season. Just remember that if you aren't in the mood to making your own, you shouldn't have any trouble finding them at most grocery stores.

You can also can buy them pre-made and packaged, and melt your own chocolate to make them double chocolate good. This will not only make them decadent, but they'll be fresher.

This is definitely a fantastic treat, and the best part is that most people love them and so if you put them out at a Christmas party, for instance, then you are sure to get a great response.
